Our dear neighbors have been such a help to me lately that I certainly wanted to send a thank you.  These poppies were just the ticket.  When I walk I walk by a house that has beautiful poppies.  They will be moving to Missouri soon and asked if I wanted some.  Oh yeah!  So hopefully I will have some pretty poppies soon.  I believe spring is back again.  It was cold, drizzly and dark all week.  The weatherman says we have turned a corner and spring is here again.  Just hope it stays this time.

Until next time, happy trails to you....

  1. Your card is really pretty. Poppies are such great flowers!

  2. What a pretty poppy card, Sheri! Good luck with your real poppies - can't wait for you to share pictures with us. I'm glad you have such nice neighbors.

  3. Those poppies are absolutely gorgeous!! Great idea to emboss them too!! Hugs!

  4. What a wonderful gesture to give you some poppies! That way you will remember them after they move away and you'll know they will grow for you, if they grew for them. I love poppies, too, and love the design and coloring of your sweet thank you card, Sheri!

I hope the weather stops being all freaking bipolar and settles down to give you a few days of spring before it turns into the hot and humid days of summer. There is a reason we don't call it Mister Nature, huh? Oh, hmmm, now I've given myself a whole idea for the blog ... heh, heh!

    Enjoy the weekend! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Very nice card! I like the poppy theme you have been going with lately! It's always nice to have a reminder of friends when they move away.
