Oh Christmas Tree...

It doesn't seem possible that the turkey has been put away and Christmas is approaching quickly.  I am  making cards to send for my personal use and also for the Caring Hearts Card Drive.  Are you all ready for the holidays?  I think I am about finished with the shopping and didn't have to leave my house on Black Friday.  No way to I get into those crowds!  How  many of you go out in the middle of the night for the deals on Black Friday?

Our Thanksgiving Day was chilly but today was in the 50's and they are saying tomorrow may be 60!  I will take those temperatures all day long!  Lucy and I got to walk without freezing today.

Until next time, Happy trails to you!...

Sweetie

My Copic markers were sitting in their bag and when I walked into my craft room I thought I heard crying.  I checked in the bag and there they were, crying and asking why they aren't being used.  They sure weren't feeling the love.  I had not been using them too much lately.   So I promised them that I would let them out and get some fresh air the next day.  I held true to that promise and colored up this sweetie which was a stamp off from a friend.  I then thought that I had not used my Frantage embossing powder in a long way so I dug that out as well.  I am happy with how the card turned out.  I don't think you can see it but the paper has an ombre look to it.

Our weather is certainly wintery now.  We have had snow twice now.  And it has been windy and bitterly cold.  Ok, now I am ready for spring!  Enough of this! But it is nice to snuggle up under a big blanket and read a good book.

Until next time, happy trails to you...

Thanksgiving is Coming

Ok, this is really not a Thanksgiving card but I thought this may be a good time to post it.  Actually I made it last winter!   I colored her with my Copics and then fussy cut her out.  I then mounted her on cream cardstock and then on a piece of black cardstock with cream behind that.  I used gold embossing powder to heat set the words.

Until next time, happy trails to you!!!
