A Very Happy Easter

As we enter into the last few days of the very holy season that Christians call Easter, I wanted to share with you this last Easter card of this year.  I hope you spend time with family and friends during this time.  I also hope that your weather is springlike wherever you may be.  Gosh the weather seem to be crazy all over the country!  They are saying our snow will melt and we will have a beautiful Easter.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visits my little blog and know that I appreciate each and every one of you.  Thank you so very much.

Until next time...
Happy trails to you.

BUNNY HOP and LITTLE LAMB

First off today I would like to thank Eulanda for my new blog look.  Isn't it springy?  I love it!

Easter is coming so quickly that I had to post 2 cards again today and will post my final Easter card later this week.  The first card I with the bunny was just so cute I couldn't resist it when I was at Archivers last week.  It is a cute little set by Lawn Fawn.  I used my Copics to color and the grass is punched using a Martha Stewart punch.  The white card base is from Papertrey Ink.  The second card is made with Lasting Impressions paper and a CC Designs stamp.  I computer generated the verse that I found on the internet.  The circle was cut with my Spellbinders dies.  Of course  more Copics were used to color the little lamb and then pearls are from Recollections.

The Easter bunny is going to have to hop through the snow to get here.  We are going to get another 2 - 4 inches of snow starting this afternoon.  Shucks!  I was so hoping for warm spring days to sit on my deck and read.  I am sure they are coming but when???  By the end of this week they are talking temperatures in the high 40's so maybe this will be the end of the snow.  One can only hope!

Well, that's it for today, I will be back later this week to show you  my last Easter card.  Until then,
Happy trails to you...

Easter is Coming

Oh how quickly Easter is coming!  Only 2 more weeks.  We had such a nice day yesterday that I could almost believe spring was here but it is back to winter today and perhaps snow tomorrow.  Oh well, eventually spring will get here.  In the meantime, I have a couple of Easter cards to show you.  I had another one picked out but decided to wait until just before Easter to show you that one.  The top card is made with a Memory Box die for the "city" a Martha Stewart punch for the grass and an Eat Cake Graphics bunny.  Isn't he just adorable?  The second card is made with that same Martha Stewart punch and Lasting Impressions paper.  The adorable bunnies are Papertrey Ink.  I popped their tails away from their bodies a bit with pop dots.

Enjoy your week!  Embrace the warm days if you get any.  Send some our way!  Until next time, Happy Trails to you....

Easter

Surprised?  Two posts in two days!   Well Easter is coming and if I don't start to show you what I have made, it will be long gone before I ever get them posted.  Any way I don't many details about this card.  I think it is a CC Designs stamp (pretty sure).  The paper is Bo Bunny Country Garden and can you see the bling I added?  Lots of those teeny things.

We are having a blizzard I think.  At least that is what is looks like outside.  Yesterday was warm and rainy and today is 29 degrees and snowing and extremely windy.  Yuck!  All too soon this will be a memory I hope.  We ended up with 8.5 inches of heavy wet snow.

Until next time, Happy trails to you...

Springtime Posies

I think spring is trying to get here.  Today is rainy and dreary but the temperature is already 45 degrees and it is not even close to  noon yet.  Loving it!  And tonight we spring forward with our clocks!  Yes, spring is definitely on the way!  For my card today I used a stamp off I had and colored it up with some bright spring Copic markers.  I loved how it popped on black paper.  I added some bling at the bottom of the page and called it good.  I left room on the black part for a sentiment as soon as I figure out where it is going and why.

I have spent the week with my reorganizing again but feel as if I am finally really getting there.  Just a few odds and ends to finish and I will call it good.

Until next time... happy trails to you

Musical Fairy

Last week I was able to stamp with some friends and one of the gals, hi Jan!, had these adorable fairies from Crafters Companion.  I just had to stamp them off and color them up.  I made this one for another friend from my yahoo groups birthday.  I don't think she looks at my blog but if she does, I am pretty sure she has it by now.  Happy birthday Nancy!  I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background and a Memory Box die for the ribbon holder.  I am looking at it now thinking I should have put a button or something in the center of it.  Next time!

I spent the last few days working on organizing my ribbons.  It was so frustrating to go into my box of ribbons and find a big mess and have to dig for what I wanted.  My friend, Eulanda said she uses www.ribbonring.com and so I thought I would give it a shot.  I ironed my ribbons and then hung them up.  I really like it and I can see all of my ribbons at a glance.

Our puppy Lucy went to the vet for her annual check up and shots this week.  After she was finished, the vet set her on the floor while we visited for a few moments.  Lucy vomited right away and the vet jumped to attention and told her assistants to get her 2 shots as Lucy was having a reaction to the rabies shot.  She then said that she was glad we were still there as it can get real serious real quick.  Thank goodness they could counteract it.  I had never heard of a dog having a reaction to a shot.

Until next time ... happy trails to you...
