For Judy

My sister in law is in the hospital so I made a card for her. I used my JustRite Thinking of You stamp set. I used white cardstock for the base from PTI and Bazzill paper for the yellow and green. I colored with my Copic markers using #BV000, BV02, BV08, YG23 and Yg 67, Y06, Y13, and Y38. The butterfly is the new die from PTI along with the Butterfly Dreams set from PTI. The ribbon is from my stash. I added some Crystal Effects to the flowers to make them look dewy and some glitter on the butterfly.

It looks like spring may finally have arrived in Nebraska. This week has been in the 50's all week which meant I got to walk every day and Lucy got to go to the puppy park every day. It has been a wonderful week off for spring break but now it is back to work on Monday. We will have 39 day of school when we get back. Summer is on the way :)

Until next time... Happy trails to you!

Happy Spring???

Happy Spring to all! It is 34 degrees here this afternoon with a wind chill of 22. And we had snow yesterday so the ground is white. On Thursday it got up to almost 70. Only in Nebraska, yes? It is supposed to get nicer again but not 60's or 70's for awhile. I am on spring break this next week and was hoping for beautiful weather so I could be outside but don't think that will happen. Oh well, a week away from work is a good thing no matter what the weather, right?

Today's card features another Bildmalarna stamp. Did you know that Bildmalarna means picture painter in Swedish? This sweetie is stamped on white cardstock and cut out with my Nesties along with the scallop oval behind it. That paper is PTI's Sweet Blush. The pink paper is from Moxie and the blue flowered paper is from Cosmo Cricket. The flower is from my stash and the button is from Lasting Impressions. It was colored with my Copic markers. My friend Linda sent me this image, so thank you so very much, Linda

Until next time... Happy trails to you

Birthday Girl

Happy Friday! Boy this week flew by, didn't it? We have one more week of school until spring break. Don't know who is more ready, the kids or the staff. This gal is certainly ready! It snowed here on Thursday all day a slushy heavy wet snow but it didn't stick so we didn't have to shovel it. But I am so ready for spring that I just hated seeing that snow. It was really pretty and normally I would think that but not this year. Ok, enough of my ramblings. My card this week is a new image for me. She is a stamp by Bild malarna. Isn't she adorable? I have two of them and love their little faces. I made her for a friend who I hope doesn't look at my blog. Tande has a St. Patrick's Day birthday so I had to put a little green on her. I hope you like her.

Until next time, Happy trails to you

Easter Chicks

This is my second post tonight. I can't get enough of making Easter cards. I think it is the coming of spring after such a hard long winter. The colors, the flowers, the thoughts of anything spring just make me happy. Tonight it is raining outside and I am loving the sound it makes. Unfortunately it is too cold to open windows so I stick my head outside once in awhile. Now it is not a hard rain but just a little drip drip but it is still rain and not snow! The card I am showing tonight was colored with my Copic markers but I didn't keep the colors out unfortunately. The paper is Bazzill cardstock. I pierced around the white Paper Trey Ink paper. I hope you enjoy it.

Until next time, Happy trails to you...

Winston

This week we lost our grand dog, Winston. Winston had a ton of personality. We thought he had a few years left but it was not to be. He was not quite 12 years old. His vet figured that he had a brain tumor and fortunately Michelle made the decision not to let him suffer after a few seizures. A very brave decision but a very difficult one as well. We will all miss him. We will see you on the Rainbow Bridge Winnie.

Until next time, happy trails to you...
