The Hills are Alive.....

Ok, so this is not what you expected, right?  Did you think Julie Andrews would be here today?  Or maybe the Von Trapps?  Well, I was almost as excited when I learned to  make hills.  After  many failed attempts I learned to push the ink up instead of across the paper.  What a difference it makes!    Anyway I used Memento inks on this and I am sorry but I don't remember the stamp I used. I can tell you that I stamped some of the flowers off and then restamped on my card.   I used my Nestabilities as a template for the clouds.

Our little Lucy will turn 4 years old on Monday.  Sure doesn't seem that we have had her for almost 4 years now.  She got a haircut today so she will be so pretty on her birthday! In this picture she was riding in my bag. Or trying to!  Neither of us had tried that one before :)

I haven't talked much about the books I have been reading.  I read Danielle Steels and Debbie Macomber's newest releases and they were both excellent.  Friends Forever and the Inn At Rose Harbor. Now I have just started Mitch Albom's The Time Keeper.  I think it will be very good as well.

After a few pretty chilly days, rain and winds, we are supposed to warm up.  All week is supposed to be pretty nice.  I hope to be outdoors as much as possible.  I hope you have a wonderful week as well.

Until next time, Happy trails to you.....

Sheri

  2. I agree with Joanne! Your hills are wonderful and the whole scene is beautiful! I saw a card recently doing something similar and I really want to give it a try.

Lucy is so cute! Jamie's Lucy just got her hair cut last week too and she is so pretty and so soft!

I finished a book lately and when I got to "the end" I realized that there were about 100 pages missing!!!! I had purchased it at a used book store for $1.00. I had to know the end so bought the "full book" from eBay and finished it last night.
