Time to Garden

I just love this happy little gardener.  She is a Whimsy digital image and can be found right here.  I colored her with Copic markers and added a little white dots to her boots.  Looks like she is doing the happy dance because it is springtime.  The papers are scraps from left over projects.  The flower is from Memory Box and I think it is the chrysanthemum die.  I made it while I was puppy sitting for my friend Georgia.  I added a button to the top and popped it up with pop dots.  I hope you like this one.  She was sure fun to color up!

I know I talked about telling you of good books that I read and I forget to mention them.  I have read a couple of very good books lately.  I just finished Richard Paul Evans latest in The Walk Series.  It was called A Step of Faith and it was excellent!  Another one I read was Maeve Binchy last book before she passed away.  It was really good as well and titled A Week In Winter.  I have lots more on my list as well.  Stay tuned!

It doesn't seem possible that tomorrow is the last day of school.  That means in another week I will have been retired for one whole year.  WOW!  Where did that go?  The year just flew by and I can honestly say I was not bored for one minute!  I highly recommend it!

Until next time, happy trails to you!
