Nothing But Blue Skies

Good Morning Peeps! It is going to be a scorcher here in Nebraska all weekend so thought I had better get up early and move! I mowed the grass early and trimmed some bushes and now after my shower feel a whole lot better. I wish someone would invent something you could put on your grass to make it stop growing. It gets to the length you want it to stay and then you put something on it and it just stays that length. Anyone up for an invention? hehe

OK today I have a card that I made for a friend who was going through a rough time. I hope things are better for her now. The image is from Flourishes and they stamp so nicely. I will be buying more from them for sure! I colored it with my Copic markers. I cut it out with my Nestabilities and then mounted it on paper from my stash. Also the ribbon is of unknown origin. Pretty sure I got it at a local craft store.

Wherever you are try to stay cool. Summer will be over before we know it. Enjoy every moment of it.

Until next time, Happy trails to you....

  4. WOW....your coloring on the sunflower is AMAZING!!! I agree about the grass, but if it quit growing, our flowers might stop too...sigh. This card will absolutely lift your friend's spirits!

  7. lol - you're a hoot Sheri! We always talk about the grass that you can let grow... I think they planted some of it in the new Jordan Creek area in DM. Gorgeous coloring and card Sheri!
