Ice Cream Maggie

I has been ages since I have blogged. It has been a very busy couple of weeks. My mom passed away on Sept. 29 so this post is in honor of her and her love of ice cream. She loved ice cream. She loved it so much that her great grandchildren called her Ice Cream Grandma. I think up until the last few months she ate a dish of ice cream every day of her life. In fact, I know that she occasionally had ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She was 92 years old and was very ready to die. That had been her wish for quite some time so how can we be too sad when we know she is where she wanted to be. Mom, I am picturing you sitting at an ice cream store in Heaven with all of your friends. Have a big Sundae for me!

Today's card is a Magnolia card colored with my Copic markers. The flowers are from Stampin Up! and just stamped in various colors. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch.

Until next time... happy trails.....

Sheri

  2. What a great tribute to your mom! I bet she is having ice cream with my Grammy - she loved ice cream more than any other food too - and she and I have been known to sit down and eat a whole carton of chocolate ice cream together! I am happy for your mom that she is where she wanted to be finally. Hugs, Harriet
