What a week! But the good news is that the first week of school is over. YEAH! It is always the hardest and longest of the year. We picked Mom up from the hospital today as well. She is very weak and we had to put her into the skilled nursing part of her retirement home. It is across the street from where she lives. I sure hope she doesn't have to stay there very long. It is so depressing. Why is it that they paint all of those places such drap colors. I think if they would paint them cheery colors and even painted the old chipped dark furniture white it would be a much happier place. As it is you feel dirty the minute you walk in. The people were very nice so that is the most important.

Last night I needed a very quick thank you card. Here is what I came up with in about 10 minutes. I love this PaperTreyInk set of stamps called Everyday Button Bits. I stamped the leaves with Old Olive from SU and the paper is the same. I used the Cuttlebug Thanks folder. Oh, and the red is from PaperTreyInk as well - Pure Poppy.

Until next time - Happy Trails...

  2. What a cute card, Sheri! Glad your first week is over at school and good news that your mother was able to leave the hospital. Sounds like the skilled nursing care area needs to be remodeled. :) Hope she can return to her normal living quarters very soon.

  3. What a cute card. I've seen some others made with this set and it's a cute way to use buttons. Did you buy PaperTrey buttons? The colors they have are beautiful!
