I had to make a sympathy card for a friend who lost her mother very suddenly. She was only 78 years old and in very good health. She had a tear to her aorta and was taken to surgery immediately but unfortunately it did not turn out well. I used the Papertrey Ink Botanical anniversary set to make this one along with Memento inks. It practically put itself together. I then used Stickles all around the edge and also on the flower centers. The butterflies are all rub ons and were already glittered. I hope it is not too sparkly for a sympathy card. Her mom loved flowers, birds and butterflies so I made this with her in mind.
Well, it is official! I am retired. Last Tuesday was my last day at work. It is not real to me yet and won't be until fall when it is time to return. So far I have spent one day shopping with my daughter and getting a pedicure, reading a book, working in the yard and my biggie is beginning to organize my stamps. My friend Lynette gave me an idea to use and I am expanding on it to make it something that will work for me - I hope.
Until next time Happy trails to you....
Sheri
I fell in love with this card but is this stamp set retired? I couldn't find it anywhere. Carol M in TX/carolswingster77@aol.com
