Flossie Bumblethrope
Happy Saturday! Boy it was an extremely long week for me. But the weather for the last few days has been wonderful! Thursday was 68 degrees - in February!! But it is back to winter next week. Rain and storms tomorrow - ish. Oh well, no snow in the forecast so it is all good.
Today's card was made from a digi image from Just Inklined. I just could not resist her! Of course she was colored with my copics. The red paper was a piece of left over from another project and the purple paper is from Lasting Impressions. I used some Twinklettes from Taylored Expressions on her glasses to give them some bling. I think I had glasses like that years ago!! Flossie is enjoying the nice weather as well. She is going for a walk. I thought of my Mom when I made this card. She was 92 years old and her doctor wanted her to use her walker. She refused saying "it makes me look old" Well her doctor had a fun sense of humor so he suggested that she put a sign on her walker saying "My pediatrician made me use this". It didn't work but I thought it was great fun.
On another note, last Saturday night my husband got tickets to a hockey game. He had never been to one and asked our son in law and grandson's to go with him. My daughter and I decided to go out to dinner. We were sitting in a popular steak house when we looked up and saw Warren Buffett at the next table over. That was exciting! Even when you go to the shareholders meetings you don't get that close!
Enjoy your week and until next time...
Happy Trails to you....
Sheri
PS. My friend Vicki awarded me the Liebster award. It is supposed to bring people to you blog and is awarded to blogs who are smaller. I have no one to send it on to at the moment but I want to thank Vicki so much for thinking of me.

This is hilarious!! And I love the bling!! So cool that your hubby got to see a game!! The experience of being there is so different then watching it on tv. You can feel a vibe from the onlookers. Very cool!!
ReplyDeleteSherie, Flossie is priceless! I love her look with the purple dress and red scarf on her hat...just like the Red Hat Ladies :) It won't be long until I resemble Flossie a lot more closely. Great card!!!
ReplyDeleteI have never used a digi image. Do you print it out on your printer? Did the black ink run when it comes in contact with the markers? Just wondering how all that works.
