Celebrate America
Happy 4th of July! I thought I should get these on my blog before the 4th is history. The first one is simply stickers. The paper is from Papertrey Ink and the punch is a Martha Stewart punch. The second one is a stamp from Rosie's Roadshow framed with PTI paper and colored with Copics. I added stickles to the sparkler. The background is made with a PTI set of stamps and then of course a sticker at the bottom. In real life it matches much better.
Has it been hot where you live? Sure has been hot here and I had outdoor work to do on the two hottest days. It is done now so I can stay inside and watch the temperature climb from the comfort of air conditioning!
My husband is now officially retired. Last night was his last night at work. I think he is in a state of shock! After a few days I think he will be going nuts so we will see how long this lasts. I have an appointment with the hospital on Monday to see about volunteering.
Have a wonderful 4th of July - stay cool and enjoy all of the freedoms we have in the United States of America!
Until next time, happy trails to you
Sheri

Congratulations to Bill on his retirement!!! I don't usually do anything with cards for the 4th, but yours are great!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY 4TH OF JULY TO YOU TOO!
I love the cards. Yep, it's hot here too. Congrats to hubby on retiring. Now don't drive each other crazy.
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards, Sheri!! Congrats to Bill on his retirement - that's so cool that you are both retired now. Enjoy it! Is the hospital volunteer position for you or for Bill?
