EASTER
Goodness, I didn't realize it had been so long since I have been here. Seems like yesterday I was making snow cards and here it is Easter! YEAH! I love spring and the newness of everything. Flowers coming up, trees budding, grass greening, temperatures just perfect and no bugs! I have been busy making some Easter cards. The two cards with the sunrays are ones that I sponged and then put a stencil over the top of them and stenciled the same colors over the top. I like the tone on tone effect that gives. It is fun to try lots of different stencils. The church card is a CASE from Laura Bassen. I loved it when I saw hers and had already ordered the church. I used PTI hills on mine and a different sentiment. This could be used for many occasions.
I just finished reading Danielle Steel's new book Blue. Before you groan, it was different than so many of her books in that it was less predictable. And it was a different twist. I really did enjoy it. One of her best, I thought. It would make a good easy summer read.
Until next time, happy trails to you...

Sheri, these cards are wonderful! I can' even pick a favorite. Two of them with the sun rays are great with the sentiments you used. (Are those sun rays a die cut?) And the one with the church etc is perfect with the sponging on it too.
ReplyDeleteGirl, your sponge-blended inking is the best! I think those vibrant sunset colors (my usual tequila sunrise reference seems inappropriate with the church theme!) are stunning with all the other elements of your cards!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteSheri, your cards are beautiful. The colors are lovely and your blending is amazing. So thankful that He rose from the dead so those who accept Him can spend eternity with Him in heaven. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards. Happy warm and sunny day to you!
ReplyDeleteThey are all wonderful, Sheri!!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty and I like how they match your blog. LOL!!!
