When Whimsy suggested a shabby chic challenge, I thought it would be fun and then I thought, what defines shabby chic? I decided I really didn't know. I distressed the edges, and I added some lace and shabby blue frantage. Probably needed a doily too but now is too late to think of that. Anyway, this adorable snowman is from the brand new digital release from Crissy's Digis at Whimsy. Now you can play along by popping on over to the Challenge and entering your creation! I was out of town so could not participate in the blog hop yesterday but you really need to check out the adorable images this month! This little snowman and his friend the bird, are so much cuter when it is 70 degrees outside that when it is zero! So that is it for me today, I am going to go sit on the deck, read a book and enjoy this nice day.
Until next time, Happy trails to you...
Sheri
I love your snowman and his cute little friend! I would have a hard time with shabby chic! Awesome card!
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! Love the bright primary colors - makes the cold look a lot more inviting!!
ReplyDeleteThe cold is a lot of fun when it is 80 degrees and we are thinking about it. Less fun when it is actually here.
DeleteSuch a bright and fun little snowman! Great colors and I agree about he is extra cute now when it is actually still warm outside....and he doesn't even have to worry about melting. :)
DeleteYour Frantage and distressed edges are shabby enough to set off this adorable little snowman! Love the jars you used in your photos, too!
ReplyDeleteA cute card! Hope you don't get any of the snow headed for the Dakotas.
ReplyDeleteSheri!! I love the distressing and the Frantage, of course!! Totally adorable card!!
ReplyDeleteThat card is just too cute, Sheri. I love it! Thanks for sharing...:-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Sheri!
ReplyDeleteCute! I love snowmen!!! I see you have some frantage stuff. Haven't tried any of that stuff. Do you really like it lots....I guess would you recommend it?
