Good morning, friends. I spent last night working on this card. I really do like how it came out. You have seen this image before but not like this. I saw a tutorial a while back on this and wanted to try it. So easy! I had been cutting long skinny strips to create a window before! Notice the wood grain on the window ledge. I used the woodgrain stamp from PTI to make that. Cool huh?
No snow here still. Mild temperatures too - in fact Monday will be above 50 degrees.
I finished Left to Tell and it was one of the most inspiring books I have ever read. Now I have just started David Baldacci's One Summer. Supposed to be good. I will let you know.
Until next time, Happy trails to you...

So cute, Sheri, and colored so nicely!
ReplyDeleteSheri, What a cute image to use for that window scene!!! Pretty nice today here too and warmer tomorrow but not up to 50.....I think 40-45 which sounds awfully good for January. David Baldacci is one of my favorite authors! Not sure if I read that one or not.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute Sheri! I love that wood grain window sill!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh is that ever CUTE!! That paper that looks like wood is amazing. Boy it must have taken a lot for you to actually cut your colored image. hee hee Love the sentiment done up too. GREAT card my friend!
