I have two friends with cancer and I send a card to each of them weekly. One is a lady from my church, and the other is from VA. and I have never met her but I am a Chemo Angel and we send cards weekly to people assigned to us. I am so blessed to have received the lady that I got as I am really sure she is going to be ok in the long run but it is not fun to go through this stuff. And her daughter has reached out to me and I feel I have gotten to know her. The lady at church is such a sweet lady and always thinking of others. Why does it always get the good ones? Anyway this is the card I made for the lady from my church this week. It is a new die from Simon Says Stamp and the butterflies I have had for a long time from Technique Tuesday. Of course they are colored with my Copics onto Neenah white cardstock.
Thanks for checking in with me. I really appreciate all who do. So until next time, Happy trails to you...

Butterflies are such an uplifting design to use for the lady at your church! Colors are beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful, cheery card, Sheri! I'm sure your friend really appreciated getting this card - and all of the others you send her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Sheri. The image's strong black lines with the vibrant butterfly colors is very striking. What a wonderful ministry to send cards to people who are going through cancer treatment. I'll have to ask you more about that and see if its something I could do as well.
ReplyDeleteAwww you are an angel!! That is so sweet of you!! Very pretty card too. Love the multiple colored butterflies. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThat is very kind of you to be a chemo angel! Although I do say given who you are I am not at all surprised! Lovely card.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you are a chemo angel Sheri - I knew you were an angel though! I LOVE that butterfly from TT!!
