Snowman Round 2

So last time I updated my blog, The eastern half of the US was expecting a huge snowstorm.  Now it is our turn.  We are supposed to have a blizzard on Monday night and Tuesday with 8 or more inches of snow.  So I thought I should out another snowman on my blog!  I have a tree stencil and used that for the background.  Then I colored my snowman and the fire and cut him out.  Boy I sure hope the weatherman is wrong!  The last few days have been wonderful!  Highs in the upper 40's.  Lucy and I have walked every day.  We will miss that again for awhile or that is sure what it is sounding like.  I am hoping that since they have hyped it up so much that it will miss us!

Until next time... happy trails to you

LET IT SNOW!!

I have several friends in the east who are in the path of the snowstorm this weekend.  They say it is going to be a big big storm.  I pray everyone stays safe.  And I have a friend who is in Georgia and she said their temperatures will be in the low 70's!  That sounds like a dream!!   I am so ready for spring!  But it is fun to color up these cute snowmen and winter characters.

Until next time, happy trails to you...

I have put my trust in You.

I made this card for a lady in a rest home.  I hope she will like it.  I used the Studio die set from Memory Box along with a new stamp set from Verve and paper from Echo Park and of course sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I have to thank an online friend, Michelle Peterman for telling me about the Netflix documentary, Making of a Murderer.  She said it was so good and everyone should watch it.  Well, I immediately looked for it and as I talked to others it seems like many people have been talking about it.  (I guess I don't get out much!)  So I started watching it.  I too am hooked and can't stop watching it.  It is very interesting and really holds your attention.  I am very anxious to see how it is going to end.  Anyone else out there watching?  I would love to hear what you think.

After a lot of nice weather before Christmas, it turned colder on Christmas Eve and snowed 8 inches during the day.  Now we have had another snow of only about 3 - 4 inches and some snow showers but really cold. Now this weekend they say we will have wind chills below zero.  Sounds like other than Church on Sunday I am staying inside and not leaving my house.  Brrr.  I hoped to walk this morning before the cold came but it is already windy.  Hurry Spring!!!!

Until next time, Happy trails to you!
